Human CCL20/MIP-3A Recombinant Protein (HEK293 Expression)
Price range: $198.00 through $5,200.00
Overview
CCL20 (MIP-3α) is a chemokine produced primarily by epithelial cells (especially in the gut, skin, and lungs), dendritic cells, and B cells that exclusively binds to the receptor CCR6, orchestrating the recruitment of CCR6-expressing immune cells—including immature dendritic cells, memory T cells, Th17 cells, and B cells—to mucosal barriers and sites of inflammation; it plays an essential role in mucosal immunity, gut and skin defense, lymphoid tissue organization, and drives inflammatory responses in diseases like IBD, psoriasis, rheumatoid arthritis, and asthma, while also promoting cancer progression (particularly gastrointestinal) and being exploited by pathogens like HIV for cellular entry.
Quality Assurance
Each lot is tested for purity (SDS-PAGE, SEC-HPLC), endotoxin levels (LAL method), and bioactivity. A Certificate of Analysis (COA) is provided with every order.
